I am a certified Postpartum Doula through DONA, International and a mother of five grown children!  I absolutely love helping families develop self-sufficiency skills  to nurture and care for their infant.  I feel honored to be able to come alongside families and support them through the joys and challenges that a newborn brings. 
 
My calling to help mothers was inspired by varying experiences following the birth of my children.  With my first three, I was well cared for, nourished, and supported.  With my fourth and fifth I didn't have the same kind of support postnatally and often felt overwhelmed and utterly exhausted as a result!

My first experience providing support postnatally was in 2000 for my sister after the birth of her 3rd child. Prior to getting my doula certification I worked as a Nanny through Care.com caring for infants and toddlers.

As a Postpartum Doula, I've had the honor of helping not only first-time parents but also families with older siblings, and even one family with 8 children!  For me, helping families is a calling and not a job.  It's what I love to do!
 
I customize my services for each family based on their needs and requests, and schedule in-home support services to one family at a time.  I offer a free initial consultation to determine if I will be the right Postpartum Doula for your needs.  I'm here for you!
